Portrait or Personal Image - Alan J Beachler

This old guy bought his first good camera some time around 1960, a Cannon Model P with 3 lenses, 50mm f1.8, 35mm f1.8, 135mm f3.5. That outfit is still in excellent working order.

I took about 25 years off from photography to raise two beautiful daughters.

My first step back into the hobby was about 1991 with a Nikon 6006. I now am using a Nikon F100 and D100 with as many whistles and bells as I can afford.

My photo interests lie mainly in Mom Nature and the U.S.A.

At this point in time, I am retired from corporate America and semi retired from my own small business. I am looking forward to spending more and more time with a couple of cameras around my neck, seeing what this great country has to offer.

I am in awe of Mother Nature from beautiful sunrises to a tiny speck on a leaf which transforms from an egg to a beautiful butterfly.

While viewing my photographs you will also see a person who is very proud to be a veteran of The U.S. Armed forces.
